The Ten Tools Every Remote Executive Assistant Should Know
Tool fluency is often the difference between an interview and an offer. These are the ones that come up again and again.
5 min read
The core stack
Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for documents and calendar, Slack for communication, Zoom and Google Meet for calls, Notion or Confluence for documentation, Asana, Trello or ClickUp for projects.
The operational extras
Calendly for scheduling, Expensify or Ramp for expenses, TravelPerk or Navan for travel, 1Password for credentials, Loom for asynchronous updates.
You do not need certification in all of them. You need to be able to say honestly: 'I have used this, and I can be productive in it on day one.'
Show, don't claim
Build a small personal workspace in Notion documenting your own processes. It becomes a portfolio you can screen-share in an interview.
