Calendar Management Across Time Zones Without Losing Your Mind
Time zone maths is the most common early mistake for new remote EAs — and the easiest to systemise away.

Build a single source of truth
Set your calendar to display two or three secondary time zones. Never calculate manually. Every invite should be created in the executive's home zone and confirmed with the zone name written out in the invite body.
Protect the shape of the week
Block deep-work windows before you accept external meetings. Cluster calls into two or three blocks a day, and defend at least one no-meeting morning per week.
A calendar with a deliberate shape is the clearest evidence that an assistant is thinking, not just booking.
Write invites people can act on
Every invite needs a purpose line, an agenda, the decision required, and the correct link. If a meeting cannot be described in one sentence, it usually should have been an email.
